About the Role:

A day in the life: Our Junior Accountant will be detail-oriented and analytical. The Junior Accountant should be eager to contribute to a growing organization and further develop their accounting career. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day transactional accounting functions, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with project cost tracking. This position will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure all financial transactions are properly authorized, accurately recorded, and completed in a timely manner.

On a given day, as a Junior Accountant, you will: 

  • Process daily accounting transactions (A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets).  

  • Assist with the general ledger maintenance. 

  • Support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.  

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and analyses.

  • Adhere to the company's safety policies. 

  • Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned.

Schedule & Travel: 

This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with day shift hours. This department provides a flexible schedule.

The qualified candidate we seek is a Junior Accountant with these QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Prior bookkeeping or accounting support experience.

  • Familiarity with construction accounting is a plus.

  • Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel and the Google Workspace suite of applications.
