Hear It Straight from the Team!

In this short video, our division supervisor walks through what it’s like to work at FORJAK. In this video, our supervisor explains what you can expect on the job, how our teams work together, and what it takes to succeed here.

Built Differently. Owned Together.

FORJAK Industrial isn't your typical construction and coatings company, and we're not looking for a typical Regional Restoration Technician.

Founded in 2001 in Circleville, Ohio, FORJAK was built on a simple belief: the people doing the work should share in the success. That's why in 2022, we became an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. When FORJAK wins, you win literally.

We live by four values we call FIRE: Family · Integrity · Resilience · Excellence

FIRE represents the spirit that fuels FORJAK - who we are, how we work and what we stand for every day.

The Role

The Regional Restoration Technician is a critical part of our Regional Technician team. You'll be responsible for restoring concrete and steel structures across Central Ohio and surrounding states, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and aesthetic appeal, and you'll do it with the grit and ownership mindset that defines everyone at FORJAK.

This isn't a clock-in, clock-out job. This is a career with a company that has your back, and proof of that is written into our ownership structure.

What You'll Own

On a given day, as a Regional Restoration Technician, you will:

  • Restore concrete surfaces and apply new finishes according to project specifications, including steel trowel, edging, jointing, and broom finishes.

  • Pour concrete slabs, sidewalks, and approaches with precision and a high standard of quality.

  • Prep and coat concrete slabs through wet/dry cutting, grinding, and application of industrial coating systems.

  • Repair cracks and refinish surfaces using epoxy injections, mortars, and other proven techniques; install rebar and other strengthening measures as needed.

  • Mix and apply repair materials, including epoxies, mortars, and coatings, according to project specifications to ensure high-quality finishes.

  • Operate and maintain power tools, grinders, mixers, pressure washers, concrete saws, and media blasting equipment; perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in proper working condition.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with field, office, and shop teams to keep work moving and projects on schedule.

  • Adhere to all company safety and work policies.

  • Remain flexible, taking on miscellaneous duties as assigned by leadership to support evolving organizational needs.

Do You Have What It Takes?

We're not just filling a seat. We're adding someone to a team of owners.

You must bring:

  • Valid Driver's License & Auto Insurance.

  • 1–2 years of experience in pressure washing, coating systems, or restoration work in a related field.

  • 1–2 years of familiarity with mechanical systems and tools used in concrete restoration (e.g., pressure washers, grinders, mixers).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8–10 hours daily.

  • Willingness to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, dust, and concrete exposure.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure.

  • A team-first attitude — ego doesn't build great things, people do.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience operating larger equipment: skid steers, scissor lifts, telehandlers, wheel loaders, excavators, or forklifts.

  • Familiarity with epoxy, polyurethane, and other industrial-grade coatings applied to concrete and steel surfaces.

  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements, job sites, weather conditions, and tasks.

How You'll Know You're Winning

Great FORJAK team members don't just complete tasks; they move the needle.

You're winning when:

  • Your work makes the field team's job easier and more efficient.

  • You're trusted, consistent, and people want to work alongside you.

  • You're growing in skills, in responsibility, and as a co-owner of this company.

  • You bring FIRE to everything you do.
